Door te (h)erkennen dat het probleem zich inderdaad zowel in de 'werkelijke' en in de 'informationele' wereld voordoet, heb je al de helft gewonnen. We zullen mijns inziens inderdaad naar contextafhankelijke betekenisverschillen van een begrip moeten. Informatiekunde is de manier waarop we ons wereldbeeld in informatiemodellen verpakken. Daar horen betekenisverschillen bij; we moeten alleen nog leren hoe we het in onze modellen kunnen gieten. 
 
Pieter Wisse heeft daar met zijn Metapattern een theoretische grondslag voor ontwikkeld. Meer bronnen heb ik bij mijn blog metapattern vermeld.
