Jan, je oproep is gezond. Er moet een definitieapparaat komen dat de maatschappij helpt met communiceren. En die definities moeten vanuit een helder gevoel voor context van het gegeven worden beschreven. Als ik naar de basisadministraties van de overheid kijk zie ik echter goede vorderingen. Er is redelijk consensus over elementaire begrippen als postcode, naam etc. en de interpretatie van gegevens afhankelijk van de context van het gebruik van gegevens (betreft het een woonadres? Een postadres? een bedrag in Euro's? in dollars etc) dient bij de gebruikende instantie plaats te vinden. Je roep om volwassenheid in dit vakgebied onderschrijf ik, maar is volgens mij een open deur.... Wie kan het hier mee oneens zijn? Groeten uit Deventer, Niels Klinkenberg.
