Zowel front-office systeem als back-office systemen kunnen mijns inziens zowel presentatie, applicatie als gegevenslagen bevatten.
Ik herken je stelling dat BPM suites alleen maar middleware en daarmee infrastructuur zijn. Ik heb in de praktijk veel moeite gehad om dit over te brengen naar klanten; de "COSA" applicatie was voor hun toch echt een applicatie en geen infrastructuur.
